They didn't invent shit. Japanese water heaters had this"technology"(not really advanced desu) for ages. That's why Apple couldn't patent the shit out of it and why companies can make dongles for magnetic connectors without paying to applel. I bought a magnetic charger for my Android phone for 5 bucks. Meanwhile lightning chargers are 15$ at a discount in my country because they think different and patent everything.
