Who /CS/ student here? What courses are you taking, how's the internship hunt going?
Junior here. I sent out about 50 internship applications last week and am doing a ton of hackrranks. I have an interview with Capital One coming up which I'm hype about. I also got a hackerrank from Google and Airbnb.

Dropped out last semester (technically sophomore year, but I was a few hours into junior) and currently working for a startup in Austin. Feelsgudman.

You don't need to work during the year if you're very smart and abuse internships/Co-ops. You can bring home ~15k a summer if you're interning at companies in high CoL areas. You can also take a break semester or two to Co-op which should get you a lot.
If you still need to work during the semester, research or TA. I'm an undergrad TA during the semester and make 11/hr.

How dumb are you? I finished in 5 semesters. Could have finished in 2 years if I did summer classes instead of the meme internship that my parents wanted me to work.
