What bothers me most is that they are killing 3rd party software which is based on streaming files from Gdrive. I use an audio player via company wifi to stream lossless audio from my gdrive. That will go away, rendering this feature of a PAID android software useless.

Not to mention what this might mean to Insync and similar, which are providing gdrive software for linux machines

File stream will do the same shit, but not store any files locally. Google drive is only being shut down for Windows\OSX. Drive should still work whatever retarded way it does on android\ios as it does now.
