I've already replaced my whole landline with a 4G connection, it's 1TB per month and I've just now hit 1.5TB after 4 months.
It's 5 times as fast for the same price and it's stable

Since then, I've moved but stayed on my parents' phone plan because unlimited data. Sadly, I've never been able to replicate those insane speeds anywhere else I've lived since then.

I used to when I didn't have broadband. The downsides are wearing out your phone's battery. It drains like a bastard of course, using cellular a lot heats it up too. Other downsides include not fantastic reliability, latency, all the issues associated with cellular connections.
