Is it possible to get a job in AI/ML without a masters or PhD (self teaching only)?

Sure. Write a really impressive AI/ML application and start an LLC. When you're the company president, you won't even have to sum the primes from 1 to 1000 in a whiteboard interview.
In the same boat anon....im 29 and just starting to learn AI, algorithms, programming after years of IT bullshit. It's a challenge but doable. Def lookup courses on youtune such as the MIT ones or if ur willing to spend a few bucks go to Udemy or Stackskill for the courses related. Put the certs on ur resume and demonstrate u know wut ur doing when applying or interviewing. Thats my goal at least.
