Help me find a laptop
I'm probably going to do dual boot or just windows and linux vm
Basically no gaming will be done and I'm using this in a network lab environment, it will have internet access and probably will be running varius prograrms and that's about it
Money is not a problem ,and what is the deal between i5 and i7?
Do I really need an I7, since I'm not doing any sort of gaming. My biggest concern is probably running virtual machines comfortably
bump, also interested in hardcore /g/entoomen opinion on win host + vm or dualboot for non perf intensive tasks besides the usual answers that it drains less power as a vm because of my opensource powermanagement meme

i7 if you're working on CPU heavy programs (you will need the i7 to run multiple VM's)
also, if you need good graphics you'll only find them disgusting looking 'gaming laptops' or pretty expensive Sager/Clevo's (1500$+)
obviously you should take into consideration size and portability, a laptop with an i7 would be bigger and heavier, and will also run hotter.
I would recommend i5, but you should do some research and figure out what fits your specifics.
