The (correct) time on my desktop clock doesn't match the one running in my applications (firefox, discord)

I can't seem to change the time that it reads on those applications no matter how much I try because it seems as if they believe they are in the right time zone even though they are not.

(ex. right now it is 15:48, i sent a message three minutes ago in a chatroom, the timestap on that reads 16:45 even though it should read 15:45.)

Are monitor drivers actually worth to install?
I have shitty old flatron w1942s and i found driver for it on the official LG site.
What does even driver for monitor do?

I see, I guess I should say I am trying to install Grub in such a way that I can easily add/remove linux distros and just update the grub config accordingly..

But I tried creating a 1MiB fat32 partition as sda1 to put grub on, and have sda2 with Arch on it, when I did "mount /dev/sda2 /mnt" it told me error wrong file system, even though I had sda2 as ext4. So now I'm confused what I did wrong.

I had sda2 (which I planned to put Arch on), taking up the rest of the disk (in the VM). How to make other partitions then without messing that up, is another matter, but I assume there is an easy way since nobody leaves unused partitions for later use.
