I prefer to use openwith extension and configure with mpv+youtube-dl commands.
The nice thing about it is that you can add your own custom commands with whatever programs you have and it applies everywhere not just youtube links, it to works on soundcloud links as well for instance.

I currently have 3 options setup when I right click on a link

It happened to me as well.
Though it's true some entries won't change, or revert to default when you restart. I've been having this problem with privacy.usercontext.enabled, for example.
Media.peerconnection in not one of them though.
I currently have almost 300 entries in my user.js and everything is working.

I was banned for 3 hours from here. At the time I was logged in with an google account on this browser, which I also use it on my phone.
So to get around I cleared my cookies and reset my router for another IP. And it worked.
But when I tried to post from phone it said I was banned.
But then I tried again from my computer and I could post from it. Then I logged in to google again and 4chan said I was banned.
