Hey /g/
I'm moving to a large city soon and I'd like to keep a bag on me with the essentials (Laptop, Charger, battery bank, cords, etc).
Any recommendations on a nice light weight backpack?
Currently, I have a SwissGear ScanSmart my job gave to me. Its a tad bit heavy and doesn't breathe for shit.

I've had my Timbuk2 Command messenger bag for almost 2 years now and it's great. Separate pocket for a laptop that's TSA approved and pockets that are placed pretty well for chargers/cables and everything. I use it for travel for work all the time and I can fit my laptop(xps 15 9550) charger trackball mouse, 3ring binder 2 pairs of pants, 2 undershirts, 2 collared shirts all in one bag. Unless I'm going to be gone for more than a week I can usually pack everything in my carryon.
Outside of travel it looks great and fits well for going to/from work (5miles each way) on my bike. Just get it in grey or black and it looks fine.

That being said, I use a Fjallraven backpack for my daily carry. This one has a nice spot for a laptop and it's got plenty of room for cords and any extras you'd need. Although, they aren't exactly something you could buy at wallyworld. They run $50+
