After a long research I have finally found the best ones.
1.If you're super low on specs use Midori or Polarity, they are very lightweight
2.To visit an unknown/unsafe link use Epic Privacy Browser and use their built in VPN feature, it's great for privacy in general
3.Brave is the future of browsing, still in beta but I use it regularly and have it ready.
4.I use Iridium for anything that requires a chrome-like (chromium based) browser (only then) since it has no ties to google
5.Waterfox (or PaleMoon) for FF-based addons and functionalities
Hmm having five (5) or more browsers seems really convenient, reasonable and totally not a hassle.

Brave as default
IF ever needed by a website/webapp I use Iridium and Watefox respectively
And Epic for the few rare times someone sends you a weird link.
Four (4) in total.
The last is super rare for me, so down to 3 for 99% of overall usage.
Iridium is also rare.
So essentially Brave and Waterfox

Hello, 10,000BC called, they want their technology back.

Would anyone care to recommend a browser that's super-lightweight yet allows some customisation? Needs to run on a MacBook Air, Opera's new update causes it to use 100% of my tiny 1.6GHz CPU.

I don't think I can use Brave until there's an option for tree-style tabs
