>spend weeks researching PC parts and seeking out the best deals
>finally buy all of it
>day after
>open box pre-built shows up that BTFO's your carefully chosen build for half the price
:/
>today in things OP pulled outta his ass
>choosing the pleb-tier parts that show up in pre-builts
>>62231171
When it comes to budget computers then pre-builts are always cheaper. You get more for the money if you don't have a lot to spend.
>>62231185
Not making this up, there was even a promo code to knock an additional 10% off the price. Free shipping, no sales tax.
I paid tax on like half my parts because I bought from Amazon.
>>62231171
No pre-built has an 80+Platinum PSU in it.
>>62231243
>Non-K Intel
You didn't do any research at all, you prancing lala homo.
>>62231261
Overclocking is pointless really.
>>62232070
BUT THEY CAN GET 200MHZ MORE ON GPU BOUND GAMES!
>>62232070
how else am i gonna heat up muh hot pockets gawd its like you don't even think
>>62231243
>he paid 1440.98 US dollars for parts that are worse than this garbage prebuilt
>>62231171
If I pull that [mask] off, will you die?
>>62231261
Found the shill. Summer is over dontchaknow.
>>62232186
I can't even get the processor and GPU alone to cost less than $700 on PCpartpicker, if >>62231243 actually had a 10% off code this was the deal of the fucing century.
>>62232448
>for half the price
>>62232458
Just did a comparable build not including an SSD since the "deal" doesn't include one. Using even dogshit parts and a PSU that would barely supply enough power, I can't make it less than $1000.
But lolol le ebin shit on prebuilts meme.
>>62232562
You're talking about a prebuilt that cannot be purchased.
>>62232618
It could be, and was, purchased by somebody. Stop being an idiot.
>>62232646
Interesting theory but I don't see how this allows you to call me an idiot.
>>62233619
>make dumb statement
>get called out
seems pretty clear to me desu senpai
>>62233704
The statement is valid. You have no evidence that this prebuild was ever sold.
>>62231171
Are you sure about that though? Most prebuilt PCs cut corners and costs in many parts, e.g. they ofter have good GPU but shit PSU.
>>62233777
Most pre-builts below $1000 don't need much more than a 450W PSU, and a quality one of those can almost always be found on special or at a steep discount on at least one of the major parts sites.
