No seriously what the fuck happened here? Last night it worked just fine but now today mozilla decided that adblockerrs are a sin?

uBlock is being updated to be compatible with webextensions, I guess that's the culprit. But idk, dropping 53 feels weird to me.

I'm pretty anal about updating firefox yet at the same time I can't help but use it becasue it's the only browserr with all my addons.
just update the whole thing and get it over with, it's all shit anyway

GNU IceCat does not have this problem
>forced to update to 55 because of this bullshit
>spend an hour making it look mostly like it did before because I'm really picky about it
>literally more than doubles memory usage
>3+ Firefox processes running all the time
>just want it to look the way it used to because I'm comfortable with it
I think the text is smaller too now. It feels off trying to use it, even after fixing most of what they ruined.

Why is mozilla hellbent on ruining the best feature on their browser? Addons. Firefox is fucking shit now.

Just install NoScript alongside uBlock. It gives you a much greater degree of control over how the page is rendered and you can choose to only read static webpages when you're on news sites.

They're to reach out and get a bunch of Chrome norimes on board
>>62205377
But why would you use NoScript over uMatrix?
>>62202797
chromium does not have this problem
