>use free and open source software
>spend 10 hours configuring it
>use proprietary software
>it just works
Muh freedom is nothing compared to shit that actually works and looks good.

Arch and Gentoo are for power users. Don't use them if configurations aren't your thing.
Ubuntu, Mint and ChromeOS are the 'just werks' distros.

I use arch every day with stock i3. I configure nothing.

>he needs 10 hours to configure linux
It's understandable that someone with a 95 IQ would prefer Windows

Stock i3 never had my battery configured in the bar. Spent a couple days trying to figure out how to use lemon bar and gave up.

>use free and open source software
>has the key bindings i'm used to, works great right out of the box
>can become even better by copy-pasting a couple of words into a file
>use proprietary software
>it's pretty good, but how do I do <simple thing>
>turns out it's impossible or super fucking complicated
>>62149055
>spend 10 hours configuring it
this is a lie though. why do people keep pushing this?
it's difficult to install some programs, but it's always under the table sketchy shit that isn't in the app stores. linux literally just works out of the box just like android or windows. documents, images, web browsing...
I'm sick of the lies.
