stick the CPU pins in the styrofoam
wrap the result in anti-static shit and ship it

This. Order an FX cpu blister pack case. Put it in there, then get some bubble wrap and wrap it about two or three layers worth. Then put it into a cardboard box of proper size and pack it well so that there is not movement.

Wrap the CPU in antistatic stuff then put in in that space. Then put another layer of styrofoam with space if needed

make the hole 125% thickness of chip. add a layer of styrofoam over the hole where chip is as a lid. use tape.
