Adneseseum is just a meme

The only reason you see it pushed is because of the /pol/tards infesting /g/ who are butthurt because Google is rightfully cracking down on racist hate speech so they spread memes like adnaseum or the lie that Chrome is a botnet.

Adnaseom is run by a tranny SJW Jewess who is making money off the fake clicks. Besides, the ad companies DO make money off those clicks, since Google has to refund them. And do you honestly think this little meme addon hurting mother fucking Google of all companies? They can already identify fake clicks, how else would they be able to know they need to refund the ad companies?

Just use a regular adblocker or better yet wait until 2018 when Chrome will implement one itself

You make pennies out of traditional ads. Only the small time guys think they work without tracking. The point is collecting the users data, and selling it to further target those users. Using their data, you can craft the perfect ads that actually do work. And the users will love them so much, they won't even consider them ads.

The recommendation is to either create a separate profile or browser, or even go as far as a VM, and run the aforementioned script from there so it auto-clicks ads using AdNauseum.

Personally, I also have AdNauseum on a separate browser which I use for general web browsing and news surfing purposes.

Automatically clicking every ads doesn't work: it's too easy for google to realize the clicks are fraudulent. We need a AdNauseum like addons that clicks a few random ads that way it's harder to detect and impossible to build a detailed profile of your interests.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Google's business model is UNSUSTAINABLE. Deprive them of their only major revenue stream, which is ad views, and watch them go under. It's not rocket science.

YouTube alone generates 10 BILLION a year in ad revenue for Google.

If you have older family members who have their own computers make sure you help them install their own ad blockers. If they watch a lot of stuff on YouTube they'll be glad you helped them out.

If you've ever taken a machine learning course, you'd know the problem is if you filter out some data, you'll inevitably filter out some legitimate data as well.

I notice my AdNauseum stopped auto-clicking ads after about a week of usage.

I think clearing my AdNauseum and flushing all the browser cache helps. But I'm still doing more testing and with the jFiddle as well. Will file a bug once it's reproducible.

I'm running this on a separate Linux machine, separate browser, and running this script and having it run in the background: >>62123915

I did increase the sleep to a few minutes because I don't want to tip Google off too much. Perhaps I'll throw in a randomizer there as well.

On my personal machine, I installed a separate browser and use that to surf news sites and general web browsing. Although I set AdNauseum not to click every ad so as to not tip Google off.

Hope this helps.

Every request adnauseam sends to Google contains your IP address. This is the way protocol works. The ID of each ad corresponds to a location. Thus using adnauseam allows Google to build a big beautiful profile on your browsing habits. It is considered malware when a developer doesn't disclose behavior that can harm you. Use adnauseam all you want, but be aware of what you are doing. Consider blocking scripts as an alternative that doesn't give Google data about you.

I'm pretty tech-illiterate, so I can't do too much that isn't clearly spelled out. Any ideas why AdNauseum is no longer clicking ads for me? Is Google shutting it down?
>>
>>62124086
"You" make a request to google for each fake click to Google using adnauseam. The only way to hide "You" (your IP) would be to use a VPN. I'm actually giving adnauseam the benefit of the doubt in that it already prevents scripts and additional data to be sent to Google. Thus TrackMeNot is useless in this case.

The more fake clicks you send to google from your IP, the easier it is for Google to filter out your fake clicks. Again, they are still building a profile about your habits. An actual safe way to run adnauseam, while still being effective, would be to constantly use a VPN and constantly changing you IP address.

Can't make it work on Chromium and I'm not a brainlet.

Sure the price per click will go down, yet the clicks will also be increased by this extension-leveling it out.

$0.50 per click at 100 clicks and 4 conversions on average
$0.05 per click at 1000 clicks and 4 conversions on average

You guys really foiled them this time.
>>
>>62125905
Not all ads are possible to convert into tangible action. The ones you describe only applies to a small fraction. By utilizing AdNauseam, it will drastically reduce the ad market to only items that Google can effectively track. This is why Facebook is arguably a better ad company, because it has a closed ecosystem and can monitor everything the user is doing inside of their system, especially if the company that's paying for the ads is within the Facebook ecosystem as well.
>>
>>62125905

Someone on a previous /pol/ thread put together a small list of lefty sites. If someone gets bored, going through the alexa top 1000 or whatever list of political/news sites and taking out the conservative/neutral ones would make for a great alternate script. They also found a multiple URL opener addon for mozilla/firefox, though I assume Anon who wrote the GooGun script could automate this pretty easily, if someone put together a list for him. People were getting like 15+ ads per page on NYT and CNN. Could throw in the big banks and other hated international corporate jewry.

http://grepwords.com/1000000-top-high-paying-cpc-adwords-adsense-keywords-2015/

You can pull the keywords out of the excel file easily by copy/paste, converting table to just text, find/replace ^p with ", " then find/replace curly/smart quotes with dumb quotes in notepad.

The script currently uses the top 2000 keywords with the cancer stuff taken out, but the top 6500 are still all at over $100 a pop.

My time of naivete and apathy are over, too long have I been patient and understanding, too many times have I given them the benefit of the doubt. I have long been a supporter of Google, I enjoyed their ideals and services, I admired their honesty and openness, at some point they started to change at such a pace that it's hard to even remember, slowly and slowly they got farther and farther away from the company I enjoyed seeing, now not only have they fallen from the grace they once had, they've somehow managed to penetrate the floor and turn into the complete antithesis of their former self.

Seeing this collective of benevolent engineers slowly erode into some sick perversion has left me filled with disappointment, disgust, and despondency. The stature they built allows them to set a precedent, and that stature is being either deliberately manipulated or mishandled in such an extreme way that I cannot believe it.

What has happened to them seems to have happened to many now, and I can't stand to see it anymore, something must be done to reduce organizations in this exact situation back to the level they truly deserve to be at, the new blood of the company should be in the same situation as the original new bloods of the company, return them to nothing.

tl;dr
purple prose actual faggotry, not worth reading at all
>>
What's the point of this? I mean, is the goal to dethrone Google or upset the balance between websites and ad companies?

The former I can see as being okay, Google has done things to both consumers and businesses that are less than savory. But if it's just to tell advertisers to fuck off, wouldn't that end up making paid content the norm? I use normal uBlock Origin, but I still disable it for individual websites and content producers that I like.

And how does this hurt Google more than using a regular ad blocker? When it fakes a click, wouldn't the loser be the person or company that paid for the ad? Even if they learned that it was fake after the fact, does Google automatically give the refund, or does the burden of proof fall on the company?

This has a link at the bottom to an excel file of the top 1 million ranked sites by alexa ranking for use in a script that does websites instead of keywords. Unfortunately, it is not by category so tons of them would need to be manually taken out. Alexa does have a free 7 day trial, which I assume could be done by category (normally costs 25 cents per 100).

A few of us /pol/tards have come to these threads, but we didn't start them, here. Even /leftpol/ is getting involved.

So now you are also saying that white people aren't even the same species as non-white humans?
What are you getting at here?

Got this to run on my home server linux box, and it's chugging along.

I had to change the script to only open a single window at a time with a 1 minute cooldown. Working great as nearly 100% of the ads from Google are being clicked.

Pic related is the result after running this for _only_ 1 or 2 hours. Will fire this up on the cloud and other campus networks as well. Currently, I'm running this via a shared VPN, so it's impossible for Google to track me specifically, but it's not a big deal since I have a dynamic IP address. I only use AdNauseam from my actual IP on a separate browser for casual news/web browsing.

Only problem is it would be nice to have AdNauseam clear the cache once a day or something like that. Tomorrow, I'm going to compile all the most expensive AdWords and upload it to pastebin or something and post an update. Anyways, going to bed, see you /g/uys in the morning!

Because google is entitled to profit off of me and profile me through ads, right?
Why the fuck do I still pay my ISP if I'm just here to make google money.

In case you didn't see this, above. Here is a list of Top 1 million most expensive keywords

http://grepwords.com/1000000-top-high-paying-cpc-adwords-adsense-keywords-2015/

You can pull the keywords out of the excel file easily by copy/paste, converting table to just text, find/replace ^p with ", " then find/replace curly/smart quotes with dumb quotes in notepad.

The script currently uses the top 2000 keywords with the cancer stuff taken out, but the top 6500 are still all at over $100 a pop.

You're... you're not wrong.
If there is a race for AI, then a psyop being played on us is not unreasonable. How may of you really thought it was coincidence that Tay and those other MS chatbots were "compromised" by nazis who were just fucking around? Who really thinks MS didn't take all that data they collected abd start developing a better censorship tool?
How many of you think that its not odd at all that Chrome, a free browser made by a company that makes the bulk of its money from selling ads, is being packaged with a built in adblocker next go around?

Here is the gist with >200 cpc (652 of them):
var keywordsURI = "https://gist.githubusercontent.com/anonymous/e2cce2ce92f2a64913ff34e623860b36/raw/d2600878621f921ed719c0c31969e0cacc79ec0c/gistfile1.txt";

Point the script to this gist (replace the keywords URI line) and it will search for these terms, tested it and works with the script in this thread. Enjoy.

this is genius. been running it every hour or so.
Is there a way to automate it?
>>
>>62128626
I am running this, now. It works in the first window, but in the 2nd window, it just searches "undefined" over and over.
>>
>>62131483
What do you mean? It is automated, other than having to hit "Start". It will run all night, unless your computer goes into "sleep" mode.
