I already have a retro ThinkPad so I don't care about this short term gimmick. This thing will be a disappointment. Women run Lenovo now, the person responsible for all the abhorrent changes is a woman. The lead Lenovo designer turned out to be a cuck who takes shitty orders.

Some digging around on LinkedIn for Lenovo employees made me stumble upon her. I forget her exact title but she's basically in charge of the Lenovo's direction in terms of what is wanted for design. There is no ThinkPad using male who would ever think switching to a shitlet keyboard, removing the ThinkLight, making it Mac-esque in design or having capacitive trackpoint buttons would be good. I need to find her again so I know for sure who she is and what her title is.

Oh yeah, fuck. They're fucking terrible. Bad axis for opening and it means no ports on the rear. Power and Ethernet at the very least need to be at the rear because they're chunky and thick and don't do well on the sides where you may wish to place things or use a mouse.

How big is it? I've had a t520 for a while and it always seemed too clunky for me. I'd get something from the x series but I really just can't tolerate low resolutions anymore. The t520 you can put a 1080p screen in ofc.

I just want an x200 with a high res screen and I really really don't understand why that's so much to fucking ask for.
