I fucked up, /g/. I fucked up. I "accidentally" changed my laptop from UEFI to LEGACY BIOS without realising that I have to reformat the whole thing if I did that. I want to save the data on my laptop because it has a lot of old photos in it. Please, help me.

change it back

How can I?

>without realising that I have to reformat the whole thing
technically you don't but w/e. If you are looking at a newly fortmated partition with a filesystem and all then there nothing you can do except opening your drawing application of choice and draw them from memory.

But the thing is, every time I boot up my laptop it shows the logo screen then flashes to "OS not found. Media Test Failed. Check Cable". I cant do anything
say good bye to your frog folder.

just go back to the BIOS and change it back, it should boot normally again, unless you did something more that "change from UEFI to LEGACY"
Just change it back and never come back here because /g/ isn't your personal tech support.
You can just create a bootable USB drive, boot from it and acces all your files. Or take the whole HDD out and connect it to another machine. The data is still on it, it just won't boot the OS from it.

Restore it from backups.

>stupid questions general up 23/7
what did he mean by this
>>62106442
Stupid questions general is for stupid questions, not tech support.
>>62105807
install ubuntu on a usb and copy photos to an external drive
It's just formatting, not reformatting you dumb fuck

The same way you did when you fucked it up
