How does /g/ manage and access other computers on their LAN?
Is there any software out there that allows RDP like functionality but better video performance on local networks? I've seen software for duplicating or extending a monitor over a network but it all seems to be old and defunct.

VNC?

What kind of connection does VNC need to do 1080p video smoothly?

a literal botnet

If it's my own botnet I am okay with that.

This is why I am asking. I can find programs to stream monitor over a network (with h.264 encoding or something) but they don't offer provisions for control. Seems silly in current year +2 that there isn't something out there.

steam IHS works pretty well on windows using the notepad trick
>add non-steam game
>notepad.exe
>stream it from remote computer
>press f1
>you now have full desktop access
