Inkscape is about as good as illustrator, good call.
Word is better than writer by a good margin.
PowerPoint and Impress are both crap.
Excel is by far better than Calc.

C# is so much better than Java it's absurd. The Java language is poo in loo tier and the runtime is constantly getting nailed by security vulnerabilities and updates that break backwards compat.
SQL Server is pretty close to Postgres in quality, and it scales out better. Postgres still wins if scale out isn't important to you. MySQL isn't on the same level, and Mongo is a complete different paradigm.

It annoys me when I get sent excel files where a field shows the date 2017/08/25 and Calc converts it to Thursday.
