Maybe others make similar threads because they are trying to comprehend the /g/ retardation in regards to many common technologies. Quite frankly it's starting to seem like just hating things for being popular. For more complicated tasks that require a little more leg work, you have to reduce overhead and dependencies or you'll be inefficient.
