Does a second monitor affect the performance of your first monitor if the refresh rates are different? I have a 1080p 144hz meme monitor and wanted to grab a secondary 1080p/60hz monitor just for side shit. My gpu ran dual monitors great in the past but they were identical.

It MIGHT cause some issues. I have the same setup and sometimes when something is happening on my second monitor it also locks my main monitor to 60fps.

If the 144 hz isn't primary then you will face endless problems with games.

Mixed resolutions is worse because you'll face constant resizing errors.
