Proofs? I had 9 hard disks in my entire life (WD, Toshiba, Samsung Spinpoint~Ecogreen series) and the only ones who failes were seagate with no reasons because of firmware failures, these drives are time-bombs set to shit itself.

The only one SG drive on my PC, atm is on ST500 (notebook) and it came with recallibration retries in 40~50, too bad it came on a notebook and i cant return it anymore, but this is just more proof that SG drives are shit.

What do you need SSSE3 for?

If you're going to get a 6300, you should get one second hand from Ebay. AMD's 32nm process was very resilient against high voltage, so there's virtually no chance that a second hand chip is damaged in any way (other than bent pins, which can be fixed easily).

It's not worth paying full price for any old AMD CPU.

Not worth it. The FX chips are ancient at this point and weren't even very good when they came out. A Ryzen 1200 would absolutely smash it for gaming purposes, though I understand the cost issues (especially DDR4 prices). It really would be worth saving up though, as you're not going to see much of a performance uplift in most things going from your current setup to that. The graphics card isn't much of an upgrade either.

That's just a lie. Piledriver has (slightly) better IPC than the Phenom IIs AND clocks a lot higher AND the 6300 has more cores. A hexa core Thuban chip will generally outperform a 6300 clock for clock in heavily-threaded workloads thanks to its "real" cores, but not an X4.

Fx6300 has almost the same single core performance as your phenom. Overclock or if your Mobo supports it.

HD7790 is better than 550 but not by a long shot. You're just getting lower tdp.

On HDD get something reliable like WD, don't try to get something faster, believe me, you won't notice ithe difference unless you're running several VM on a server with Raid 1 or Raid 5. And if you get an SSD, don't kill it by installing the OS on it.

As long as you have a reliable PSU already, 500w is really not that much of an upgrade, the lowest available is 430 I think... If you're planning to upgrade, get a 600w-650w, you can get almost any rig running with it.
