I spent 3 hours yesterday trying to fiddle with different flash drives/linux distro combinations thinking I fucked something up when I made them bootable when my display was fucked (even with nomodeset), just to find out nouveau is a piece of shit and doesn't work properly with 10 series GPUs. Open Soarse wins again...
I'm seriously thinking of installing Gentoo if there's a way to run it with proprietary drivers out of the box...

You could try teamcity if it's for smaller/personal projects because it always just werks, however I've never had any issues with Jenkins on 2012r2.
