Pale Moon is furryshit but at least it's more reliable than Firefox.
Most security and tracking garbage that you have to tweak on Firefox are default on Pale Moon.

Waterfox is slightly superior to placebo
Hopefully the next Waterfox 55.0.1 release will be out today or tomorrow.
Iridium is good too.
I believe Pale Moon has a mac binary as well.
Note: I also believe Woolys chromium binaries are available for mac. You might want to check it as well
