Why are RAM speeds important now?
I'm pretty sure a few years ago it didn't really make much difference if you had 1333 or 1600MHz DDR3. Now we moved to DDR4 with clock speeds that are a lot higher even on the low end sets, and apparently you'll still benefit from going to 3200MHz or some shit.

It's only important if you play Fallout or use AMD Poozens.

Ryzen benefits from faster RAM because it relies on it for Infinity Fabric speeds.

Good question curious to see how people would respond to this. I remember back in the day in my z68 system I was told i was wasting money for buying 2133 ddr3. From the benchmarks ive seen online 3000 and 3200 compared to 2400mhz there are actual tangible benefits.

What is that?
