I wish I had Chromebooks available in this 3rd world country for a decent price, this is a local seller for the Fujitsu and the Air, and overall I think they are swell deals, especially the Fujitsu since she's gotten used to the multitasking on the custom roms on the Nexus 7, youtube videos playing in the background (for the sound) and reading texts.

This should work great on the Fujitsu, and granted, it's old as fuck, Chrome OS or a lightweight distro (like elementaryOS which I'm looking at right now), should make it boot faster.

Just avoid the temptation to use sleep modes with eOS. I've had issues with the GUI rendering correctly after waking from sleep. Even if it's slower, total shutdowns are safer. You can look into popping an SSD in there if they're cheaply available near you to help with boot times and responsiveness.
