I have one of those, a mech TKL and mech 68%.

I know I'm taking the bait and that your post is a shitpost, but if you want a small wireless keyboard for your mac that one is a good option. Good battery life, great connectivity, normal mac layout.
>>
the fucking reason is marketing, something no other company seems to be able to do right

>People pay $100 dollars for a shitty, pastel colored keyboard with half the functionality missing
>>
>>61848542
Piss off, I've had to use one of these at my previous jobs and it was excruciating.
I ended up just buying a TKL mech and bringing it to work with me. Chiclet are an abomination.
These abominations are not work more than 20$
>>
>>61848584
Why so angry? It goes without saying that you need to actually like using a chiclet keyboard to consider one of these.
>>
>>61848602
I'm not angry.
>>
>>61848492
Jesus that sounds awful
>>
>>61848492
Apple keyboards are the best quality. Keys are the most precise and responsive.

Do you own an Apple keyboard? Do you spend your time typing?
>>
>>61848724
Not compared to a Happy Hackink Keyboard
>>
Paid 40 for my wired one

Fairly comfortable for me and I used to have a mechanical keyboard as well (an old ass cherry one though). I have really no reason to spend actually $100 on one of your favorite premium mechanical keyboards with cute colors and a nice sounding clickety clack.
>>
>>61848758
>Happy Hackink
No. The keys are too high. Keys must be low to be typed fastly. Otherwise the delay is too long.
>>
>>61848724
>Apple keyboards are the best quality. Keys are the most precise and responsive.
Even a shitty old Dell keyboard from the 00s is far better than these chiclet abominations.

I have paid 7$ for my semi-flat keyboard.
Best of both worlds
>>
>>61848724
>responsive
no. the activation force on these things is insane, my hands get tired after like 30 sec of typing. used one at work for a while
>>
>>61849011
>the activation force on these things is insane
Mr Burns spotted. He's the only one who is too weak to type on a keyboard.
>>
>>61848845
Actually the Happy Hackling keyboard has oneness with cup rubber
>>
>>61848758
are you fucking dumb, the happy fucker keyboard costs 2-3 times as much and is a meme keyboard
>>
>>61848492
I paid 50$ and it is by far the comfiest keyboard to code. Im a PC guy and I don't play gaymes. Would buy again. I actually own 4.
>>
>people fall for the mech keyboard meme

I fell for the chinkshit mech keyboard meme, at that

I'd fall for it again too
>>
>>61848970
no you fucking dumb
>>
>>61849011
You should probably go to /fit
>>
>>61848724
>Keys are the most precise and responsive.
Lmao no. I had to almost punch caps lock for it to work. The feel itself was crap, it just "got the job done" without any care for a decent typing experience. I have an old (~15 years) Dell keyboard that is miles better.
>>
>>61851610
i've had my noppo for about six years now and love it
anything that isn't a mech keyboard feels disgusting
>>
>>61851660
>official_google_keyboard.jpg
Buy them now before they slap that brand name on it and raise the prices.
>>
>>61848492
>bought an old ibm keyboard on ebay for 50 bucks
>it'll last another 10 years and has replaceable keys
hmm
>>
why can't apple sell nice keyboards like their old AEKs
just contract matias to make the switches and advertise as a retro throwback
>>
I don't have a problem with chiclet membrane keys.
I don't have a problem with the new keyswitches on the 2016 MBP either.
And I have a custom mechanical keyboard I put together.
They're all different, I don't really feel like one is any better than the other personally.
>>
>>61853505
They should have include an apple designed mech keyboard with Matias switches to include with their """pro""" desktop computers.
And a mouse that's actually designed to be held by human hands and has more than one click mechanism.
>>
>>61849806
See
>>61849270
>>
>>61853363
>punch
I always punch my keys, that's the only way to be sure that the key is typed. But with short keys the delay is shorted than with longer.
>>
>>61853697
>But with short keys the delay is shorted than with longer.
And yet every single WPM record gets set with mechanical keyboards with longer travel than this crap. According to that logic, a touchscreen should be a typist's dream.
>>
>>61853728
It's because they never use Apple keyboard. Those are slanted since the beginning.
