OP is baiting, but he's right. Threadripper is massively hyped, but is largely irrelevant to the mass market. Or should be, at least. People see to be buying it for some reason.

I suspect we'll see a lot of gamerbro "Why I regret buying Threadripper" shit in a few weeks even though they should have never bought a this kind of processor in the first place.
