Im going to be installing kali linux with whonix gateway to stay anon. are there any guides on what i need to do? is dns leaks possible? i know everything can be hacked, so how does one hack this type of setup and how do i mitigate such an attack?

It's safer than installing it on your computer directly. You want to get rid of any traces just erase the virtual drive. Depends on what you want to do I suppose. That you will have to learn along with the tools
