but i use it unironically, and yes, i also dislike the extension setup maybe once you can do it from gnome software proper i would be ok with it.

Used gnome for 2 days.
Every animation was laggy as fuck, even scrolling in firefox felt like it was 5fps.

Using Nvidia propritary too.

No other DE felt like this

Why is gnome so fucking laggy?

I promply uninstalled and went back to Xfce

I would of used KDE but its broken on arch.

I started off with gnome but wanted something new. Been using KDE. I think gnome and kde are both fine tho I had some issues with KDE a while ago using arch.
