If I can get a 1800x for what everybody and their grandma is charging for a 1700x, would you guys still suggest going for the 1700x?

Yes, both AMD and Intel are going to have issues like this and they'll both be fixed with microcode, the link spamming is just polluting the board, thanks.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for the support. I just realized this. I was jumping back and forth between them but realized that I may as well get the 1800x for this price. And I'm getting a Deal on the board. It's normally $150 on Microcenter. $160 on Amazon
