In C, when you want to access index j of an array A, do you prefer to write A[j] or j[A]?

*(A + j)

A[j]. Don't try to do cutesy shit just to wave your dick in the wind.

pointer arithmetic is a curse

But how else would you implement a XOR-linked-list?
>>
>>61734779
A[j] is just syntactic sugar for *(A + j). That's the reason why j[A] works as well, it just resolves to *(j + A)

Both will do
