javascript is actually a pretty decent scripting language. better than python because it doesn't have significant white space. ruby is garbage that tries to be too academic. lua is trash with indices starting at 1. all the other scripting languages are strictly worse than these and not worth mentioning.

just learn javascript. npm is so comfy. you can build pretty much anything really quickly and easily, and it'll be cross platform. it's also the fastest scripting language now.

What's important is that preet patel can't fat finger something that annhilates his environment so someone actually valuable has to sit there and try to figure out wtf he did.
