It's pretty easy to find good keyboards without the whole "gamer aesthetic". I'm using a Rosewill RK-9000V2 BR. No bells and whistles other than genuine Cherry MX switches.

Mice? That's another story. I'm still using a Microsoft Intellimouse from 2002.
