How do I make money with my programming skills? I am in college and don't have time for a real job. Basically just looking for a way to pull in a few (3–5) grand this year so I can buy a car that isn't a piece of shit. My best languages are C++ and Python. Could probably learn any similar language very quickly. Thanks fellas.
Protip: you can't
If you know enough to pass an A+ cert exam then build PCs and sell them for $100-300 after materials and OS costs on ebay.
I'll warn you though, you gotta install the OS, drivers, and replace the stock TIM with some Tuniq X4 grease so you can show off your stuff being better than most pcs out there.
You can start with really small and cheap builds like:
https://m.newegg.com/products/N82E16813157729?ignorebbr=true&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-Mobile&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-Mobile-_-pla-_-Motherboard+%2f+CPU+%2f+VGA+Sets-_-N82E16813157729&gclid=EAIaIQobChMImubOrYm61QIVUEwNCh1ANAGlEAkYAiABEgKK7vD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Slap in 4GB of RAM, a 500GB HDD, and a case with a PSU and you got yourself a $400 desktop PC that'll net you ~$100.
You should try it at least, I made 2 grand last tear that way and I have a 10-12 hour day job.

freelancing if you're good enough
You can develop websites, serve them if you have care and resources, or, if you're a faggot, you can develop Android apps
I thought Android apps would would work too, specifically games made in java and opengl but the market is really saturated and its very hard to get noticed.
Ad revenue from a website may work, most of all though its a matter of advertising yourself in a crowd or try freelancing jobs on craiglist.
