Hi, my psp 2000 has green lines in the screen, can I change the screen with a psp 1001? Can I fix that without changing screens? When I press the screen with my tumbs the lines go off, but just for five minutes or less
Flex cable on the screen is fucked because the glue holding it just went poof
1001, 2000 and 3000 all have different screen assembly
Get a new screen and replace it
It's not that hard. Hell replacing the dreaded thumbstick is way worse

Speaking of flex cables, I fucked my Thinkpad's flex cable while trying to put a new power port in. Do you think it would cost much and I should get a new laptop?

Thanks, I cant just put more glue on the wire or something like that?

Depends what kind of flex cable
if it's a display flex cable, don't be crazy and just get a new flex cable for your specific model and replace it. It's not glued to the display like PSP 2000

Nope, you can't because you'd block the traces

Open it (use a guide and be careful). Re-attach screen ribbon.
