If operating systems were fast food places, what would they be?
"Windows = McDonald's" doesn't count and will result in any and all of your opinions getting placed into the trash.
I'll start:
macOS = Jollibee.

Windows = McDonalds.
>>61657896
Windows = McDonalds
Windows = Trash can
Linux = that cheap pizza place that keeps getting shut down for H&S violations, yet somehow keeps reopening
>>61657903
>>61657908
Windows = McDonalds
TempleOS = last meal on death row after blowing up the CIA headquarters
>>61657896
Go back to /pinoy/

Windows = McDonalds / Colonels
Linux and variants = Burger King
OSX = that strange chinese/burger/pizza/whatever joint which you think might get closed for hygiene violations.
Red Hat = Carl's Jr.
>>61658081
Linux can also be Subway.
Windows = Panda Express
macOS = Starbucks
Ubuntu = local rundown old burger place where the burgers are massive and disgusting but only 1 grandma works there anyways so you don't bother complaining
ChromeOS = Menchies Frozen Yogurt

McDonalds actually worked hard to improve its menu in the past decade, unlike Windows.
McDonalds = OSX
It's exactly same everywhere.
Linux is every family owned take away joint. Same basic backend ( fryers, kitchen equipment, etc) but vastly different experience.

I'd consider McDonalds more like it is similar 95% of the time, but most people still like it and it just werks.
OSX would be like an overpriced cafe that serves store-bought shit.

IMAGINE BEING SO FAT
Windows 10: dinner with your rich girlfriend where everyone is looking at what you're doing, how you behave, how you look... while they have people everything being taken care off for you and you're almost being spoonfed but it's not comfy at all because you're under severe pressure to not make it look like you're a bad person.
Linux: It's like asking your mom who doesn't know how to cook to make you a burger, it might not be the best burger but since it's your mom who made it and both you and her know the ingredients you don't complain.
OpenIndiana = Big Kahuna Burgers
OS X before 10.6 = Jack Rabbit Slim's

Linux = UK McDonalds
t. UK maccies employee and Slackware user
The whole restaurant is dependent on everyone working together (community), it's riced out with touchscreen kiosks to order from and tablets for everyone to use, everything is made to order (no pre-made boigahs on a "warmer", although meat and fried goods may be made as early as 10-20 minutes in advance and put into a heating rack with trays to prevent cross-contaminating), and the shake/ice cream machine is constantly locking up (MOM CANCEL MY MEETINGS PACMAN FUCKING UP MY XORG.CONF AGAIN).
Linux = some small local restaurant that has nice and cheap food
Redhat = a guy that goes there with a cooler bag, orders 5 menues and then rides a stolen bike around town selling the food off for way more than it costs
