theres the fagbook at 2 lb with no battery and no cooling with a 2304x1440
if youre willing to be a bit flexible on your weight xps 13 with a qhd+ screen
is about 2.89 lb but it packs a gorgeous 3800x1600 display

lastly if youre willing to go all battery and less than high res and forget the weight
at 3 lb you could get a x270 thinkpad with a 72wh (plus 24wh internal) for 25+ hours of battery but only 1080p display

Problem with the macbook is it's allot of cash for what you get, if you take that money and put it into an xps13 or surface you get allot more value for your money
