>tfw get amazing tech job over other applicants who are obviously smarter than me but I had better social skills and won over the interviewers kek
How does it feel to be a socially awkward disgusting slob /g/?

dunno man, will see during interview once I've graduated.
I am pretty much the same.
I am not a bad programmer but I have friends who are much stronger programmers who can't get through interviews at comparable companies due to social skills.
That being said, they would not have been able to keep these jobs had they gotten them. The level of programming at most software jobs is not that high compared to the level of collaboration.
This is actually a very important aspect of landing a job that many applicants don't consider. You can be a programming god but if you apply for a position which requires team work to some extent, you're basically screwed if the best conversation you can do is by thanking someone when they greet you.

Don't know what shit ass companies you guys work for that actually hire like that, most of the best know what social fucknuts good programmers are, so they interview and hire accordingly.
Those other guys you're laughing at right now will land a much better job soon.
