Has anyone heard of juicero?

https://youtu.be/-i0UugILBJg

literally $499 to open up premade packaged juice in the complicated way ever when you could just jab a straw into the pack or squeeze it with your hands.

Who the fuck thought it would be worthwhile to invest $120mil into this?

>overpriced item that is produced for a fraction of the cost and can be marketed to morons who will be stuck buying it's proprietary branded juice packs for as long as they use it (which will be long due to sunk cost fallacy)

Perfectly fine business model. You underestimate how stupid consumers are.
>>
>>61637116
I love this thing. It's so stupid it's amazing, and people actually bought it. It's like a Ferengi scheme
>>
Juicero ain't just a juicer. It's a distribution model. It's for rich people who want to juice but ignore logistics.

I saw the teardown video and nearly had an orgasm. The things are so well made it's crazy. I'd kill to be able to get other products that built with such high quality components for such a reasonable price. Too bad it's a useless juicer built for retards that was so over engineered and not a laptop or something.

It actually isn't. They went full retard with the design and manufacturing of the thing.

As he said in the teardown video, it's terribly engineered. Everyone can build a bridge, its just going to be ridiculously expensive and big. A well engineered product doesn't waste so many resources

Google has never done ANYTHING right outside of the search engine. Every single venture they tried to break out into was either aborted, stillborn, or abandoned. Any time they do something even marginally useful like Google Code or Google Reader, they kill it for no reason. Now Google can't even do the search engine right, and have started gutting basic functionality that they've had for YEARS like being able to add a + infront of a word to force include it in all searches. Results are no longer relevant to anything you type into the search bar, because Google instead tries to use janky half-baked machine learning to "guess" what you want instead.

Google is a bad company with no future racing straight down into irrelevance as fast as it can. Its only lasting legacy will be the household brand name, which people will continue to apply to all search engines like they do "Kleenex" to tissues.
>>
>>61637116
wait, you can only make one glass of juice out of one bag? that's fucking stupid and retarded.
this would have been an almost decent idea if it had bigger bags and let's say 7 or 8 glasses worth of juice in every bag, but this is fucking shit.
>>
>>61639193
No, it's really half a glass of juice. I think it's 6oz or something.
>>
>>61638933
Same concept, worse execution.

Those overpriced water boilers weren't expensive to make, which is why they were such a cash cow. This needs people to use them for 6 months just to pay off the cost of building the machine.

That's because if that'd be still possible people would be able to circumference paid search results.

It's officially confirmed, that stores and services are placed above non-profit or informational websites. That's why we get less and less results from forums or blogs.

And that's stupid because huge websites like wikihow get more results than actually informative websites, but made by people interested in narrow hobby or subject.

Somehow we're losing information on the internet rather than increasing them by google promoting shallow but huge websites that tell you how to blow your nose rather than websites that'd explain in depth how to fix an obscure error in a specialist application.

No, /x/ thinks they're lizard people, /pol/ thinks that the CIA and Mossad use pedo-heavy blackmail networks to keep democratically elected or appointed members of government under the thumb of the Deep State.

And they're probably not completely off the mark. Clinton buddy Jeffrey Epstein had a private island for entertaining the super powerful, staffed with underage "prostitutes" (aka sex slaves), and got 1 year in a minimum security prison (for statutory rape or some other massively lessened charge) after the situation was made public.

Filling your kitchen up with single application appliances is such a 20th century thing. I can't speak for everybody, but I hate them and something has to be done about it.

Don't get me wrong, I use a coffee maker on a daily basis and things like toasters, blenders, and the George Foreman grill a lot, but I feel like going forward people are going to figure out how to start combining things better for efficiency.

I want all of these functions without the clutter. Maybe the stove or refrigerator industry are going to innovate to incorporate new features and start making these old single-use appliances obsolete.
