>tfw fell for the Ryzen Meme

Who else fell for the Ryzen meme? I'm getting worse performance with writing speeds on my SSD and I'm not fucking impressed.

REEEEEEEEEEEEE.
>>
>>61625392
I ditched my 6700k for a 1700x
Never been happier, performs incredibly minus the memory issues.

You fucked up

so I'm going for ryzen 1600 and asrock B350 pro4 motherboard combo with the cheapest 3Ghz RAM I can find.
All the games I play are not really graphically intensive but I do tend to extract and compress .rar files.

would this work well with windows 7?
and does anyone have experience with this particualr motherboard?
the asrock 970 xtreme4 has done an excellent job sofar so I want to go with asrock again.

LMAO

ASRock won my loyalty for life because they release a fucking USB patcher that makes a USB installer for Windows 7 with all of the right drivers to work on AM4 motherboards.

Doesn't matter breh.

>>
>>61625869
does 4k-64thrd impact performace much?
>>
>>61626295
It's probably "4k running on 64 threads at the same time" so probably not.
>>
>>61626295
No, that's stupidly high queue depth no actual workload ever uses.
Low queue depth directly correlates to response times, that's what you want.

As others mentioned you're using a different version and also a different ACHI. In addition you gained 4K read/write speed. This is not due to Ryzen or the AM4 platform. Nobody else has had this regression occuring.

I have no real complaints about the drive, it cost just about as much as normal sataIII ssd that saturates sataIII and because a bottleneck happens somewhere around 400-500 read speed, I take no issue in it being slower, just wish it would be advertised speed.

Yeah i got that same build. Install 7, it works flawlessly anon. They have a patcher on the website that adds usb drivers to your Windows iso, and saves it to your usb stick. I had tried using 10 for a while and coming back to 7 is so goddamn comfy
>>
>>61625755
yeah windows 7 works well with ryzen
just use gigabytes windows 7 tool or something to patch the iso with m.2 and usb 3.0 drivers and just install normally

Conguroglation to rysen designer and amd workers, i ask near 20 ryzen buyer ,are you happy with ryzen , 100% say YES

People must be clever and dont belive intel seller gossip to harm ryzen

I hope all understand ryzen technology new 99% of games(software) cant relize and see ryzen cores truley

Like CPU-Z erorr in 1st week , after add ryzen works exclent , so games need time to update to see ryzen truely (if you check youtube games test ryzen games can use avrage 20% of cpu , 2core 4 threat only!!!!!!!???)

I promise ryzen 7 real and total power is 200% more from i7-7700

However compair 7700 with 4 core(produce for game) not fair with 8core cpu(optimize for workstation)

Thanks to all in amd, i belive after software update and VEGA graphic,we will see 100% moreryzen power(speed)

Inb4 you are running IDE mode instead of AHCI.

I don't see how that could be possible. But I've seen people do worse.
>>
>>61625869
> muh arbitrary score!
>>
>>61639884

Looks like on my mobo there is a setting for AHCI or something else, but it's global. Not individual for each drive by the looks of it.

But then again, maybe it wasn't individual on the last one either.
>>
>>61625392
New Ryzen owner here, I bought one because you fucking Intel kikes don't know when your shilling makes you look desperate.

Every time you pollute this board with your shit tier shill jobs, people buy Zen, Pajeet. Pay attention to Trump's whitelash, Intel is now on the receiving end of a goylash.
