Anything not too underpowered will do
Something with an A10 or A12 and a 1080p screen would work well and those are usually pretty cheap
HP has some nice ones

I mean display ain't the best obviously in comparison to some but no I don't thinks will be loud unless you keep it constantly on For a long timr

That is a quadcore mobile i5, its gonna be a bit hotter and therefore a bit louder under load.
Look for a system with an i5/i7 U. ULV chips are cooler and don't require a large heatsink or fan
For 2D indie titles in 1080p you can go with a ULV dual core and have no issues.

Laughing at those poorfag surroundings and the fact that computer will be faster than mine.

Are you the anon that returned all that shit in pc related and then went on to get a life instead of playing video games because I remember pic related
>>61627056
I am the same anon! But now not having my own PC sorta sucks. So i'd like to at least have a decent laptop.
>>61626923
Never heard of these things, going to search on bestbuy. Fan noise is my biggest trigger.

OP here, this is what I am leaning towards. Any opinions?

That's a decent laptop. Has the specs similar to the xps 15, but not the price. If you don't mind the not so great build quality, the hinges will probably loosen after six months to a year, etc. then great. If you just keep it on your desk and take care of it (buy a carrying case if you're gonna take it outside) and it should last you a good couple of years if not more.
Dell also has great support. So if you can take the 3year Dell warranty take it.

or should i get this instead for $605? will this even play terraria on high though?
I mainly want a quiet 14" - 15.6" laptop with SSD AND to be quiet
