I have a mac, so this problem doesn't apply to me :)

your input, therefore, helps me greatly. or it doesn't... I can't remember which
>>61620079
yes, but you also need to format and overwrite with 0s
>>61620079
Yes, now install Gentoo.

well thanks, it's working now
>>61620116
Yeah but being an Apple cuck you have other problems like being a fag and potentially homeless.
Pull out power cable, click power button several times, wait, plug back in.
plug keyboard into rear ports until it works.

i tried that on a trusted friend's suggestion (ex ibm guy) and it did nothing

Do the same, this time also resetting the CMOS battery while it's off. If that doesn't work, go to a repair shop.

Try keyboard on another pc to ensure its working. Check batteries if wireless.
What type of board is it, usb or ps/2?
If working on another system hook it back up to your computer in the back of the pc mainboard ports. unplug everything else but power and monitor. Now attempt to enter bios. If it will not respond open up the case and unhook devices from the motherboard then attempt again to enter bios. Let us know whats up.
Also it helps to let people know what computer it is, what parts it may have and so on.
The more info you provide the better your chances of getting some help are.
