What's a good laptop to do college schoolwork, edit videos, and maybe do light gaming? What's a good laptop in general I guess would be my question. Budget is between $600-700 but if you know a laptop that is exceptional that cost more or less be my guest

laptops in this price range are pleb tier at best. *New* hardware is already two gen old, and if they don't fail you before the laptop physically breaks, then count yourself lucky.
There was a video about a guy who got a chrome book and built a PC for gayming. Probably will be the better option, though prob $200-400 more...

Yeah, I was looking for a laptop that could do light gaming but most importantly is fast and can edit videos. I plan on building a true gaming PC later. Saved up a lot of money, but I hear GPUs have gone up due to coin mining.

I received a pretty reasonable answer though :^)

>Cost
>Power
>Portability/quality
Pick two. Know that you're still making a lot of compromises with those two choices.

This, also look up Dell student discount and enter your school. Also try to get the ips panel.
