What makes this even worse is it's a locked i5. OP, if you are not baiting you would be MUCH better off buying Ryzen 1600. For the same price you get 2 more cores, 8 more threads, an Unlocked CPU, a good stock cooler to OC it with and much better support for high memory speeds.

That's the bottom of the barrel i5 which can get to 3.5GHz max. And it's locked. Buying the unlocked i5 which does 4.5GHz would require him buying a more expensive Z270 as well, waste of money.

DO NOT buy the Corsair CX PSUs. They are very cheaply made. One of them started outputting much less wattage than it's designed output (750 to less than 550) and in the process fried my GPU. Luckily I managed to RMA the GPU, and now I am running a more quality CoolerMaster 550W PSU that poeers the same GPU (R9 290) clocked even higher than before.
Also, unless you are SLI/crossfire there is no reason to get 750W PSU. Get a 500-600 modular one with at least gold rating instead.

That's probably the worst possible build, i5's are no longer worth it.

You could build a cheaper R5 1600 build, get a cheaper mobo + cheaper PSU and bump the GPU to a GTX 1060 for the same price.

Cut down to 8GB of RAM, get a smaller SSD (120-250GB) and a smaller HDD (maybe 1TB) and just buy another later if u need the space. Get a psu with less wattage as that is wayyy overkill, and find a cheaper mobo. Then, with all the money you saved, dump it into a better vid card/cpu combo

EVGA have international warranty, you can get 6gb 1060s for about $300 incl. postage from Amazon. Change the cpu/mobo to a ryzen 1600 and b350 mobo, which costs about the same as the i5/mobo combo but with 2 extra cores and you can overclock. You're also spending too much on the case.
