I've got an X1 with a 14" screen that's the size of your air with 7th gen i7, 1tb ssd, 16gb ram, a uhd screen, and more ports than I need. And it weighs half a pound less. And I can drop it or spill shit on it. Granted, I paid twice as much as you did.

I'm sure it works for you, but it could be comfier, faster, sturdier, and serviceable.
