>install firefox

>ugly grey color on windows 10
>add ublock origin, decentraleyes, and greasemonkey
>becomes slower than chrome
>no smooth scrolling which even edge literally has
>uses as much ram as chrome and three times as much as edge
so this is what you guys like? an ugly, slow, bloated browser.
>m-muh ricing
I was gonna say Chrome is a botnet, but you use Win10 anyway so no difference.
Use chromium

Gonna need you to quit your bullshit there anon

Am I the only one who doesn't have an issue with browser taking up too much RAM? If you have more than several tabs open, just set the browser to not cache the rendering of the DOM.
>>61558109
Chrome is slow shit, anyone who doesn't get the same speed on firefox is memeing
>>61558109
>faster than chrome ootb
It's not.
>ugly grey color on windows 10
Changes in 57.
>no smooth scrolling which even edge literally has
It has smooth scrolling, and I think it's enabled by default.
>>61558609
the titlebar will be that ugly grey

Sounds cool, but how do you do that ? ( on Chrome Dev for example )
Cheers
then use vivaldi or chromium.
bump
the only reason people on /g/ have an issue with ram usage is because of their stupid hatred of having more than 4 gigs
everybody knows /g/ users are poor, stupid anime watching weebs, who brag about having less usable, and worse products.
they fall into a strange form of superiority complex that praises having awful operating systems, poor hardware, and less usable hardware, but not because they know it's bad
they think it's an actual improvement to have 2-4 gigs of ram over 8-16, but then proceed to complain about low performance, and bad ram usage, despite having systems that are clearly too low spec to run said programs normally
Greasemonkey is a legacy addon that prevents most of the recent optimizations from working. Use Tampermonkey instead, and add Dev Theme Enabler.
*screeching noise

Is Greasemonkey really that big of problem? I was using Tampermonkey on chrome but heard it's slightly botnet
FF ends up using basically the same amount of ram as Chrome for me and fluctuates with cpu usage
People said modern FF runs better but I'm not seeing the speed or smoothness botnet Chrome had.
What settings should I change to get the most speed and smoothness then?
