Want to rewrite a relatively large Python webapp into Node or Golang, here is what I know right now:
Go:
+ very fast
+ easier deployment
+ easier to check for bugs in development
+ easy to use in golang KV stores
-Harder to do SSR of Javascript (SEO is important)
-No really strong web framework
Node
+ Fast enough
+ Easy to do SSR
- Faster development but harder to debug
- Most frameworks are shitty anyway
