hi /g/
I'm on a public PC with Bash as its OS.
I'm trying to get into the system admin (attempting sudo) but I don't know the password.
Password hasn't been disclosed, think the higher-ups are the only ones who know.
How do I go about doing this?
Do I just use brute force?
or are there simpler methods?
pic related, that's the OS type

Since you clearly don't know what the fuck you're doing, you should just leave now, and come to terms with the fact that you are a brainlet.

You don't. People with no idea what an operating system is have no business playing around in a terminal.

you're supposed to type another -ls after the second one to list all the hidden files. you'll the see a password file there once you do that, then just open that with vi, put brackets around the numeric sequence, save, run the 'rosebuds' command and you're in. best (or worst) part about bashOS is the hidden password file. hackers that know what the fuck is up call it the pwnword file.

1. passwords aren't stored in passwd anymore
2. you can't save it as anyone but root anyway
