it has that I C O N I C smartphone design, perfected by iPhone 6 in 2014, and Google's execution of it is solid and I C O N I C itself, but now it's rendered obsolete by ultra thin bezels (like G6) and bezel-less phones (AQUOS Crystal, Mi Mix, S8).

Pixel's design looks dated. iPhone 7 does too, it's been three fucking years.
G6, on the other hand, looks like an actual smartphone from 2017.
